We spoke to Michaela Walters at Capital XTRA, gave us the lowdown on what her job entails and some top tips on how to make it as a Managing Editor (Digital).
What does a Managing Editor (Digital) do?
“It revolves around looking after a brand’s entire digital presence. That mainly features the website, the app, the mobile site, all of the social platforms so Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, YouTube and all of the video content.”
What are the three most important skills needed to do your job?

Top tip for making it in the industry?
“Ask questions! Ask people to get involved, ask people for their opinion on what you’re working on because as cheesy as it sounds, knowledge really is power!”
