Becky Hill is a singer songwriter from Worcestershire who rose to fame after appearing on the first season of The Voice UK. While she didn’t win the competition (she got to the semi-finals) she’s the first ever Voice UK contestant to have landed a Number 1 single thanks to the song ‘Gecko (Overdrive)’ with Oliver Heldens.
Kizzy Meriel Crawford, known as Kizzy, is a Bajan–Welsh singer songwriter from Merthyr Tydfil, who sings in both English and Welsh, using traditional and modern sources; In one of her first press interviews she explained “I have a fantastic cultural heritage to be proud of – Welsh, English and Barbadian; and this is reflected in my music as well as drawing on soul, indie, folk, jazz and songs and songwriters from the ’60s and ’70s”.
Plan B is an English rapper, singer-songwriter, actor and film director from Forest Gate, London. He first emerged as a hip hop artist, releasing his critically acclaimed debut album Who Needs Actions When You Got Words in 2006. His second studio album, The Defamation of Strickland Banks was a soul record and went straight to number one on the UK Albums Chart. He’s also collaborated with other artists such as Chase & Status, most notably on the top ten single End Credits.
He is also the founder of charity Each One Teach One (EOTO) which aims to improve the lives of young people aged 14-25 by providing access to new skills, training and support.
In the past six years, Rhydian has had a highly successful career as a double platinum-selling recording artist. As well as two sell-out solo tours, he’s also performed in the theatre and in the past two years alone has appeared in touring productions of The Rocky Horror Show, Grease, We Will Rock You and hosted his own Welsh language TV series.
Sion Russell Jones
Siôn Russell Jones is a singer/songwriter from Cardiff, Wales. He has a unique and infectious vocal backed up by intricate guitar melodies and cracking choruses. Since the release of his debut album ‘And Suddenly’, Siôn has had an exciting few years securing an endorsement deal with Stonebridge Guitars and a publishing deal with BDi Music (Bucks Music Group).
The Dirty Youth
The Dirty Youth have an array of high profile appearances under their belt including this year’s performance on the Second stage at Download Festival, Hard Rock Calling alongside Bruce Springsteen and mammoth European tours with the likes of Korn and The Rasmus, now they’re getting ready to hit the road again to give their loyal fans across the UK what they’ve been waiting for, the release of their highly anticipated second album ‘Gold Dust’.
