About the company

Guerrilla Shout produce a range of visual media for festivals & clients such as Berlin Atonal Festival, AVA Festival, Electric Picnic, Body & Soul, Jaguar in the form of lighting installations, music videos, animations, projection mapping & event production.


About the role

As part of the internship our Production Intern will be up-skilled in a range of innovative technologies, learning best practices and cutting-edge content creation techniques.

This is an exciting opportunity within the audio-visual industry for an internship with the possibility of employment post project. The focus of the project will be to assist the company’s directors with identifying business opportunities within the music, entertainment and film and industry.

Building lighting installations, developing animation techniques and assisting on music videos will all be part of a normal day’s work.


Key responsibilities

  • Lead generation activity to include developing and executing an ongoing e-marketing and telemarketing campaign to identify new opportunities for Guerrilla Shout across Northern Ireland and Worldwide
  • Assisting with media projects (Animation, Design, Lighting & Stage Design)
  • Handling correspondence, organising customers to maintain customer records
  • Organising vital parts of Guerrilla Shout productions (Music Videos, Live events)
  • Writing informative and effective search engine optimised copy for the website and blog postings
  • Maintaining web content for Guerrilla Shout & DSNT
  • Managing the organisations Social Media accounts ensuring all copy is relevant for the different platforms
  • Managing the content diary for social media content for Guerrilla Shout & DSNT
  • Keeping up to date with changes and advances in social media and advising on new channels and approaches to adopt
  • Monitoring social media for company mentions and engaging with customers where relevant

About the candidate

  • Fundamental understanding of Adobe CC Suite Software (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects)
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Passionate about music, social media & production with a desire to progress in the industry
  • ‘Music’ and ‘Social Media’’ experience (personal or professional)
  • Actively engaged in social media and social trends
  • Understanding and working knowledge of multiple social media platforms essential – i.e.: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, WordPress, Mail Chimp, etc
  • The ability to learn quickly
  • Be able to think creatively and come up with original marketing ideas
  • Self-motivated, hard-working and enthusiastic
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to keep calm under pressure
  • Flexible and able to prioritise own workload
  • Strong digital organisational skills

Desired Criteria

Understanding of 3D animation software (Cinema4d preferred but skills are transferable if you have an understanding of how 3D works)

Understanding of VJ software

A university degree is not required. Your enthusiasm and willingness to learn is more important to us than paper qualifications. We’re not expecting you to be the finished article as training and support will be given.
