We’ve been working with young people across the UK to unleash their potential and develop their talent. We’ll be highlighting some of the successful journeys of our Music Potential Graduates. Here’s Kemi’s Music Potential Experience…
I had just finished university and I always wanted to do music. I was just starting to work on my first solo project where I was told about Music Potential at a show and it looked like a great opportunity to develop my artistry and get a foot into the industry.
I was able to meet new artists and learn how to song write in a group. It was amazing learning from great industry professionals like SheZar. One of the highlights of Music Potential was MP Networks. I was able to gain an industry mentor, Tasha Demi, who taught me new skills and gave me great advice that I still apply to this day.
As an artist, I have been recording more and collaborating more with artists since Music Potential. I am also studying A&R and Songwriting at Notting Hill Music Academy. One piece of advice I would give is that, your dreams really are possible. It is so important to work hard and believe in yourself and Music Potential is a great place to showcase your talent as you will find peers with the same level of passion.
