Find out what Sasha’s been up to since her time at Music Potential…

Where Are They Now: Music Potential’s Sasha Brown

We’ve been working with many young people across the UK to help unleash their potential and develop their talent. You may be wondering what they’re up to now, but have no fear, we’re here to provide you with updates on the progress of past Music Potential’s, beginning with 2016 graduate, Sasha Brown!

Described by industry heavyweights as “one to watch” (Kiss Radio DJ Justin Wilkes) and as “a multi-faceted talent” (Clash Magazine), Music Potential ex-graduate Sasha Brown was introduced to music at an early age, so it was inevitable when aged 21, she applied to be part of Music Potential which she states “gave me an insight into thebusiness side of music“.

Since then, Sasha has been able to collaborate with Music Potential’s own, Duplex, to remix her debut single – ‘Parallel’. Most recently, she has linked up to work with Jason Elliot and Ellie Goulding collaborator, Joe Kearns for her huge new single entitled, ‘Model Behaviour’.

This track sees a development on Sasha’s pop ballad debut single. Her amazing mid-range vocals, alongside quality production from HYLNU, offers listeners a deep look into the life of a young girl striving to find her place and truly connect with those around her.

In the past few months, Sasha has also been gigging at iconic venues and events across the UK, including The Roundhouse, Groucho Club and The Secret Garden Party.

As a prominent figure within the DJ scene, Sasha Brown displays her amazing ability to uniquely play the saxophone whilst controlling the decks, playing at London’s Fashion Week, World Record Store Day and Somerset House.

We’re excited to see what the future holds for Sasha Brown, but from what we know so far, the only way can be up!

Be sure to listen to her new single ‘Model Behaviour’ and also catch Sasha presenting her weekly show on Hoxton Radio on Mondays at 12pm-2pm. She is definitely on her way to becoming an established force in the UK music scene.
